Prakash Raj replaces Akshaye Khanna in Drishyam 3?

Prakash Raj revealed that he joined Drishyam 3 Hindi film and he is happy to be part of it. There have been reports about Akshaye Khanna have asked for huge remuneration and hence, the makers could not afford him and had to search for a replacement. Now, Prakash Raj has joined the sets and started shooting.

He confirmed the update on his X, "Started shooting for this engaging franchise #Drishyam3 in hindi. With a wonderful team and a scintillating role to play . Im sure you will love it ( and yes im not replacing anyone..)." He also made a tongue-in-cheek comment about not replacing anyone but being a part of the film.

Had he just stated that he joined the film, it would have been simple update but has he stated he is not replacing, it raises the doubt. Malayalam version of Drishyam 3 makers have halted Hindi version shoot until they complete shoot and hence, Akshaye Khanna became unavilable post Dhurandhar success.

Currently, Mohanlal's Drishayam 3 will release for Summer and immediately, Hindi version will also release with Ajay Devgn in the leading role. But Telugu version with Venkatesh seems to have been dropped as the actor is busy with Trivikram Srinivas film, Adarsha Kutumbam.
